Objectives: Speed, Endurance, Open stance, Forehand, Control, Slice

– Player stands in the ad corner
– Coach stands in the deuce corner and drops the ball
– Player sprints, hits forehand slice and recovers back
– The goal is to learn how to hit forehand slice while running at full speed and quickly recover back after the shot

– Coach feeds short ball to the ad side
– Player hits backhand slice approach shot down the line and moves to the net
– Coach feeds another ball to the deuce side
– Player finishes with deep forehand volley cross-court
– The goal of this exercise is to learn how to come to the net after hitting backhand slice. This skill is necessary to force the opponent to make more mistakes by changing the rhythm of the rally

– Coach feeds high ball to the deuce side
– Player hits offensive forehand drive to the deuce side and moves to the net
– Coach hits another high ball
– Player finishes with deep smash to the ad side
– The goal is to learn how to transition to the net after good drive shot and finish the point with well-placed smash

Child serves from the AD side and tries to make it over the bar after the bounce. By performing this drill child works on trajectory and learns how to apply topspin to the ball. Both these skills are necessary to play consistent serves at any level and to build the base for more powerful shots in the future.

Target is set on the coach’s side. Coach feeds balls to the backhand side. Child tries to hit backhand in a way to make the ball fly over the net and under the bar. By performing this drill child learns how to control spin and height of the ball. This skill will help him in the future to build successful tactical patterns.

Tomato 100g

Cucumber 100g

Pepper 100g

Onion 30g

 

 

 
Recipe:
Fry turkey minced meat. Cut tomato, pepper, and cucumber into slices. Put all the ingredients into graham rolls
