– Player hits backhand approach shot and backhand volley cross court
– Player repeats this pattern

Objectives: Technique, Strategy, Backhand

– Coach feeds high and deep balls to the ad side
– Player learns how to deal with these balls while using different strokes
– Player tries to move back, take the ball right after the bounce, take the ball on the rise or take it out of the air
– The goal is to develop different responses to deep balls to be able to execute various shots against different opponents

– Player bends the knee and puts one leg behind the body
– Player puts the leg on the net
– Player keeps the stretch making sure that the knee is not going in front of the body line
– The goal is to stretch thighs to improve flexibility, start recovery process, and stay injury free. This drill should be performed immediately after the practice/match

– Player sprints and hits touch shots (drop shots) to deuce side
– The goal is to learn how to maintain control over the ball while running at full speed

Millet 100g

Cottage cheese 200g

Honey 20g

 

 

 

 

 

Recipe:

Boil millet for 15 minutes. Add cottage cheese and honey on top.

Catch the ball between the racquets and hit

 

 

Objectives: Control, Touch, Placement

Coach and player rally together. Coach and player use 2 racquets. Each player has to catch the ball between the racquets before the hit. This skill helps kids to properly position to the ball (receiving skills) as also better prepare own strokes (sending skills).
