– Player runs and hits the backhand
– Ball should bounce in front of the coach
– The goal is to learn how to hit the ball into the legs of a net player to force him/her to hit the ball up

Coach feeds the balls to the ad side. Player alternates deep backhand down down the line and short angle backhand cross court. By performing this drill player learns how to open the court with a deep shot and put the opponent on the run with the next angle ball.

– The goal is to improve touch and control of the shots inside the service boxes
