They explain what they have tried to achieve during the game and what has been working well and which aspects have to be corrected. All these things confirm the importance of a proper preparation for the tennis match so all players should learn how to do it. Knowledge of footwork

Tennis, as many other sports, requires great movement skills to achieve decent level of performance. Footwork is one of the physical skills that can limit or facilitate player’s improvement. Many coaches say that tennis is a movement sport and I can completely agree with that. The best confirmation of these words can be observed on ATP/WTA Tour. Looking at Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic in action are examples of world-class physical preparation based on the movement. Even body type like Serena […]

Top mistakes result in lost potential

Tennis is an individual sport where everyone and everything is focused on the particular player. Big money that plays a crucial role forces many parents to put a lot of emphasis on tennis for their kids. It is nothing wrong to encourage kids from the early age to participate in hitting the ball with the racquet but the process of getting better has to be consciously planned with details. False thinking that more is better caused many talented players to drop […]

It is not done after the last point!

Tennis is a great sport where there is no time limits in the game. Players never know when the match will be over so it gives additional motivation to work hard even when losing badly. Many players are taught to fight for every point so they only can be sure about winning the match if they will win the last point. Unfortunately, especially too many young tennis players are so happy with their result that they think that last point […]

When we are kids, we all have own different idols we would like to be. It can be a world-class soccer player, local language teacher or famous actress. It doesn’t matter that our pick is not exactly the same as my best friend’s pick; what counts is our motivation to follow every step of this particular person and act like one. From experience, we know that every school has a class’ topic about “In future, I […]
