Objectives: Split step, Forehand

– Player stands behind the big and small cones
– Player jumps over the big cone and lands wide with small cones between the legs (split step position)
– At the same time coach feeds the ball to the deuce side
– Player hits regular forehand stroke and recovers
– Player repeats this pattern

– Player alternates legs with each step

– Cones are set on the baseline (deuce side = red, ad side = yellow)
– Coach tosses the ball to the forehand side
– Player runs and hits forehand stroke
– After forehand cross court, player recovers to the red cone
– After forehand down the line, player recovers to the yellow cone
– Player repeats this pattern
