– Player runs to the first one, slides and drops the ball with hand without touching the cone
– Player recovers and repeats this pattern for 2 other cones
– The goal of this exercise is to learn how to control upper body action while sliding. This skill is crucial to effectively execute forehand stroke on clay court

– Player rallies with a coach
– Coach hits shorter balls to the backhand side

– The goal of this exercise is to warm up strokes and improve sliding action. This specific footwork is crucial while playing on clay court so players should feel comfortable with this movement

– The goal of this exercise is to work on many physical abilities. Being able to balance on one leg is crucial while changing direction after the hit so by performing this exercise player also improves his tennis performance

Kids rally with each other. Kids have to stop the ball with body part before they hit it over the net using the racquet. The goal of this exercise is to develop motor skills that are necessary to build tennis skills. Additionally adding soccer skills on the tennis court makes this exercise more fun so kids are motivated to do it for a longer time

– Coach feeds high and deep balls to the deuce side
– Player learns how to deal with these balls while using different strokes
– Player tries to move back, take the ball right after the bounce, take the ball on the rise or take it out of the air
– The goal is to develop different responses to deep balls to be able to execute various shots against different opponents

– 2 zones (Red, Yellow) are set
– Player starts from the service line
– Coach feeds random balls
– Player hits the volley into one of the zones
– If the player hits the ball into the red zone he has to recover to the red cone
– If the player hits the ball into the yellow zone he has to recover to the yellow cone
– Player repeats this pattern
